Bio

Elizabeth Russell is a Canadian interdisciplinary artist who lived in London, UK from 1996 to 2002.. Elizabeth is an art instructor for North Island College in Courtenay, BC where she resides. The artist received her BFA in Painting from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 1995 and her Masters of Fine Art in Combined Media from Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, UK in 1997.

Elizabeth is a conceptual artist who produces paintings, drawings, photography and installations in a variety of styles. The artist’s art practice involves the creation of art works for thematic gallery exhibitions, as well as site-specific works and community based projects. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group presentations in BC, Canada, Bremen, Germany and London, UK.
